Slow alternative rock or Indie song that starts with beach themed opening?

  • I listened to this song while I was driving in Cancun. It is an English song. I can differentiate whether it is alternative rock or indie but it is certainly not pop. The singer is male. The distinctive feature of this song is that it starts with Hawaiian or beach themed opening. I am guessing slide guitar is used. It is pretty slow yet relaxing. Unfortunately at that time I did not bother to pay attention to the lyrics. But now that I am having some sort of summer blues, I am desperate to know the name of this song to bring back some memories. It is going to be difficult to find but this is my last resort. Thanks for your help!
