Anyone got any ideas for a good rock band name?

  • So, I'm putting a band together with some friends of mine. So far we've got a drummer, and two guitarist/pianists. We're looking into a bassist and a singer currently. We play a lot of classic rock stuff (basically a lot of good music from the 60s-early 80s). We're trying to think of a band name, but are stuck. We want it to be original, and along the lines of The _______(s). You could throw in an adjective (like The Yard Birds) too, if you want. Anything would be appreciated! We really want to get our name our name out there so we can start getting gigs and get people interested in joining the band, but obviously we need a name first.
