Led Zeppelin vs The Who vs Rolling Stones?

I've seen all of them in concert. Led Zeppelin put on a much better show. The band are widely considered to be one of the most successful, innovative and influential groups in the history of music. Led Zeppelin are one of the best-selling music artists—various sources estimate the group's sales at more than 200 or 300 million albums worldwide. Their 111.5 million certified units in the United States rank them as the second-best-selling band in the US. Led Zeppelin have been credited with a major impact on the nature of the music business, particularly in the development of album-oriented rock (AOR) and stadium rock.

In order .... (My personal preference) Rolling Stones , Led Zeppelin , The Who , than The Kinks

Why Bother asking if you are already attending the Church of the Beatles? I think the Rolling Stones are the winners. Led Zeppelin are a bit too overrated as a proto metal band when a lot of their albums are full of lifted old blues songs. The Stones had the stiffest musical rivals ever. The Beatles. The Beatles are hailed as "changing music" when all they did was change how it's marketed. They were the first band to build an image and exploit it to death. The Beatles were a pop band who knocked out some great pop songs. They are however also guilty of turning music into some sort of exercise in high art where the finished music is less important then the "idea" behind it, and a lot of their later albums are full of some pretty weak and pretentious materiel. The Beatles lucked out in being in the right place at the right time. The Stones never had any time for the Beatles style of self inflating BS. They made and continue to make straight up Rock and Roll. Keith Richards might stay in bed smoking drugs all day, but he doesn't have the pretentious sense of self righteousness to go on TV and insult regular people outside his Millionaire circle by saying "this is how we fix the problems in the world". Give me Sympathy for the Devil over Yellow Submarine any day.

Led Zeppelin, hands down, though The Who and The Rolling Stones were great back in the day. They had the grace to quit while they were at the top of their game rather than becoming irrelevant (The Who) or a joke (The Stones). As for the Beatles, I like a lot of their later music (from Revolver on) but I don't consider them superior to any other band of that era.

In order: The Kinks The Beatles The Rolling Stones The Who Led Zeppelin But I wouldn't list any of those bands as favorites (in fact, I actively dislike all except The Kinks and The Beatles, to various degrees).

My order would be the stones, zep, the beatles, the who, and the kinks. not that i think one band is better than the other.
