How can I make good beats? (Using FL Studio 9)?

Im 16 now and I really like music. I used to use garageband for mac to make music but I can't always get the loops to sound the way I want them too. Fl studio is nice but a bit complicated. I'm always getting frustrated too, which means I can't think right and I can't make good beats = ( All I need is a little advice and some tips. ----Thanks!
