How can I sell exclusive/non-exclusive rights to my songs/beats?

  • I'm a song and beat (hip-hop) maker. I want to sell the rights to these songs but I have some questions, like if someone i am in contact with wants to purchase the exclusive rights to a beat of mine, how do I go about selling it to him? is there an online company I can go through? also I would like to know how to sell non-exclusive rights. I also had another question like if I sell non-exclusive rights of a song of mine to someone does that mean I can never sell the exclusive rights? Any information on this topic would be very helpful, I have been making music for a long time and have copyrighted them but have no idea how I would go about selling rights (not to mention how confused I am about what Royalties are)

    I am pretty sure you can just straight up sell it to him/her if you made the beat without sampling. because YOU created it. but if you sample you need to get the rights to use it from the original producer, and once that's official you then own that. so you can sell it.
