Would I hear a noticeable difference in sound quality if I got these speakers/deck installed?

Give me a list of equipment that I can use to record my own music.?

  • I play guitar and I am good with bass and drums to I got a crappy little berhinger guitar link and some software but it doesn't work. I am not new to making music ive made plenty of songs and have been playing for almost 7 years now so i'm not looking for cheap "it will get me by" stuff, I want studio quality sound I want people to not see the difference between my song and a song they hear on the radio. I play metal, My band is just me i want to use an electric drum software for the drums and i will record guitar and bass through my computer with a guitar link and it will be strictly musical no vocals, i wanna know what I should be looking for in terms of brands and types of mixers and softwares I want a list of products you know from experience work best to get me studio quality sound, money isn't a factor in this question I don't care how much I have to spend I have prepared to spend as much as needed and I know how expensive these peices of equipment are.

2 main things. 1 Is an Audio Interface, the other is a computer. The computer will host your DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) and the Interface will allow you to record to the DAW. I use a Focusrite Scarlett 8i6 Interface, this should work fine for what you want to do. If you use a PC, the DAWs that you should look into are Cubase, Pro Tools and Ableton. If you have a Mac, get Logic. They all have a big learning curve, just keep at it, watch tutorials ect. For the drums, you could do them on a MIDI Controller hooked up with the software. Or you could do them internally, for that, nothing beats FL Studio. Another thing you'll need is studio quality monitors and headphones, get the best you can afford. Also maybe just get a $100 Mic, in case you want to record some vocals eventually, or even just random sounds to mix with your music. I know I'm probably forgetting something, but this should work fine. The audio quality will be decided by the effort you put into learning to mix, and possibly master though its probably best to let a pro do that. Good luck..
