Im a rapper and I need help promoting my mixtapes and music?

I have a couple of mixtape and I have no problem putting them on rap websites and youtube but I'm having issues increasing the number of views and getting my name out their. any suggestions?

what we do. walk around ask people to give you a dollar or whatever for your demo/mixtape. you probably get a lot of NO's but you gotta start somewhere
