How to write a good song?

  • Okay, well I dream about writing my own songs and singing them on stage in front of millions of fans, the only problem is that I just can't write songs. I try so hard and I have ideas but when I try to think of lyrics I just go blank. I've been thinking about writing a songs like Selena Gomez. I know she doesn't write her own music, but whoever does, they write amazing lyrics with amazing tunes. I really like the songs 'Who Says' and 'We own the night' and many others but I would love to write a song with the same type of theme as those ones, please help me stop my writers block, also its not just writing the lyrics, it's also coming up with a tune, please help me write a good song...thank you!

    just start by huming out a lil tune an make sure it sounds catchy like nah nah nah nahnahnahnahhhh nah nahnah naahh nah ah. then you think of ryumin couplets like you, who, chew, grew. then you organise them into the tune like thiis: i never noticed i loved you, i just thoht you were a friend now our love has started to grow who knows what will happen i never thought of who never the least it to be you i thought that id chew over you i know stupid but thats how u doit then u sing the song to your humming. hope i helped xx
