How do I write a song?

• I really want to write a song but I don't know what to put in it. I want to make it on how much I miss a girl and how hard it is to go out with her because my friends are putting me through to much pressure, than I want to write a song about it. Any help please?

  1. Whatever you want your song to be about let it be from the heart. 2. Don't worry about what others think of your song. 3. Remember that songs and poems are similar (a song is basically a poem with music to go with it). 4. Every song doesn't need to rhyme, but it is easier to rhyme. 5. Try adding an instrument with it (if you can..you don't have to). 6. Last but not least....Don't forget who taught how to write a song (me) j/k
