Does wearing a daily disposable contact lens on the next day is very harmful?

Is there a tiny piece of my contact lens in my eye?

  • My right contact lens started irritating me after the first few hours of wearing it. I didn't have any contact solution with me at the time but I did wash my hands and take it off to see if it was a hair or something, and it wasn't. Eventually I got home and took it off and it started hurting more for some reason and I was tearing (I was also tearing earlier in the day). It was really bothering me so I used some eye drops. After I felt better, I noticed that I could see very slightly better with my right eye than my left without my contacts/glasses on. I'm guessing there's a contact piece stuck in my eye. How do I get it out?

  • Answer:

There might be a piece. Keep using eye drops, or wash your eyes every day about 5 times with water, while keeping your eye open. If none of that helps, then go see a doctor. Hope it helps!
