How to fill out a job application form?

I am going to a company to fill out an application form for a job. Will the interview be the same day?

  • I'm not to sure if I should dress smartly. Would they check the application and interview me after I have filled it in or will they invite me back? Thanks!

    Most likely they will not interview you the same day. If they are deperate they might. I dropped off an app last week, didnt hear back, so i went in to check in on it, and they asked me to come in for an interview the next day. so checking in on a job is really good it shows you want it. its better to dress up even to drop off an app than to not. good luck : )

you would normally expect to have advance notice of an interview, so it's not likely that you'd have the interview on the same day, but I suppose it depends on the company and how informal they are. Either way, of course you should dress smartly - they will be looking at you to see how you present yourself.

It could be either way. I would be a good idea to dress decent either way and every time you apply for a job.
