Applying for a job ????????help?

STRESSED OUT ABOUT APPLYING FOR A JOB! HELP?

• I've been asking myself the same questions over and over during the course of the summer. I admit I started a bit late with the whole job search thing but here are some problems I have been having. 1. I get nervous when applying for a job. Like I don't like walking into a place, telling them I want to apply for a job, and them turning me down. 2. I think August is too late for a summer job. Should I just try or is there no point and just wait until March or something? 3. If I walk into a place and I see someone I know, I'll freak out because I get nervous around people. 4. If I know the place won't hire me, I don't want to go. For example my parent's want me to apply to a grocery store, but my friend works there and said they would hire someone my age. So whats the point in trying? Don't say work online, or give me a link to a job site...neither work.
