What do if I've been laid off?

My mom thinks im a lady of leisure since ive been laid off work and cant find another job and its been months?

• Literally, im looking everyday but no luck, i have a degree but thats not what these jobs want nowadays. i see some of the most stupidest/ungrateful people with jobs. what can i do to convience my mom im not slacking, and anyone know any other job websites besides the usual. i cant even get a job at mcdonalds nor retail, ive looked everywhere im not just open to my field, im open to a job period but with my experience i tend to get told im over qualified. i feel i shouldnt have to lie about my experience or education nor kiss *** to get a job.
