How can I get my g.e.d online?

How is it that even in this economy felons, drug addicts, and people who have no diploma or GED can get jobs?

• My GF can't get a job no matter how hard she tries. The question I'm asking is: How is it that felons, drug addicts, liars, cheaters, thieves, most of which who themselves have no diploma or GED and/or a bad work history can still get jobs even in this economy and she can't and she is not a criminal but doesn't have a GED or diploma? She's tried everywhere. No fast food place, retailer, etc will give her a chance and yet some of these same places give criminals a chance and they have worse than she has.

  Being a a felon, druggie and no academic credentials does not prohibit a potential employer from hiring a willing worker. The people that you mention are usually not candidates for high paying positions as leaders of industry (although a few are). There are many jobs that either do not require diplomas or specific technical skills. Some jobs do require specific training, either by law or the employer's desire. From the general context of your question I believe that you and your girl friend are relatively young, which implies a lack of work experience. Perhaps she is trying for jobs which are not at the traditional input level, which could provide the experience she needs to build a resume. There are any number of reasons why she is having this problem. Employment is hard to come by in some parts of the country at this time. I am sure that she will be able to find a job with enough effort. She may want to ask a potential employer why she was not selected for the job she applied for. That may provide information as to what they are looking for and give her an idea of HOW to present herself as a candidate for future jobs. Good Luck!
