What does the current ratio tell you about a company?

Is it OK in an interview to tell Company B that Company A has given me an offer?

  • I was scheduled for an interview with Company B the day that Company A gave me a offer. I am much better suited for Company B and would be much happier. I asked Company A for some time to think about it, so that I could interview with Company B. In my interview with Company B- should I disclose that I have another offer on the table? Is this seen as bad practice? I don't want to accept the offer at Company A and find out Company B offers me a position. I want to make sure that they know that they would have to make me an offer quickly if I got the position, but I don't want to come off as rude and unprofessional. Like I am pressuring them to choose me. What should I do?

  • Answer:

I can say for certain from being on the hiring end that is not a good idea for I would reply that you are probably more suited for someone else, so keep your options open and say nothing for you certainly will gain nothing good let alone leverage.
