How to become a manager of some shop?

Would you hire an Assistant Charity Shop Manager?

  • I was just wandering whether you would employ somebody to become an Assistant Manager at your Shop (if you own a shop) whos previous job was an Assistant Manager of a Charity shop? Obviously stock management is different in a Charity shop (its usually donated by the public rather than buying stock from suppliers). All answers would be greatly appreciated :) Im in the UK btw ... I dunno whether this makes a difference

    Its hard to take someone for real when they weren't getting paid for their previous job. Its like a Street Performer going to Hollywood. But you never know, apply. Just don't put "Assistant Manager @ Barnados (or whatever) Say "Assistant Manager" and mention Barnados in the job description in your CV,
