My First Interview!?

Nervous about my first job interview tomorrow?

• Hi All My name is Jamie and I am 20 years old. I was wondering whether any of you could help me with advise for an interview I have tomorrow I have applied for a position with a French Bank in London as a Junior Clerk. I have never had an interview before and was wondering how I should dress for the interview. I am advised that I am one of 4 applicants attending on tomorrow and that we will all have a one on one interview followed by lunch and then some practical tests. I guess this will be to see how we work as a team etc. As there are so many parts to this interview I was wondering how I should present myself. I was also wondering whether it was correct to take off my jacket (if i wear one) if it gets hot or during the lunch or practical tests. Does anyone know what is the correct thing to do. As this is my first ever interview I am extremely nervous and don't want to present myself in a bad light. Any help would be really appreciated Thanks Jamie

  act like you own the joint. be very confident in yourself. and you'd be surprised about how just little things like your handshake says about you. if you shake someones hand gently and just hold it while they do the shaking, it makes you seem uncertain. BUT. If you hold their hand tight and firm and take control of the shake it shows your confident.
