I need Help Finding a Part Time Job?

• I'm 18, and the only part-time job i've ever had was a babysitter and a newspaper deliverer. I've been searching up and down for part-time jobs for the past two years. No one in my family works in a retail store, so I have no inside help. I've gone to many employment agencies that helped fix up my resume and who gave me interview tips, but still no job. I've had a few interviews, even at Abercrombie and Fitch. I was the only one prepared and dressed professionally for the interview and still never got the job. I'm getting so depressed and discouraged that I can't get a part-time job. I want and need one so badly to help pay for my university fees and dance fees. I don't know what to do. Some days I feel like crying. I took a semester off and now I feel worthless because I have absolutely nothing to do. Please give me tips on how to get a job.

  First of all, don't feel bad about yourself! I have been applying for jobs for the past 3 months, and I've only just gotten an interview now. It is a really competitive environment out there, so don't get syked out! Secondly, if you are applying at a clothing store, dress as if you worked there. Dress neatly and nicely, but observe what the employees are wearing (i.e. nice jeans, and a casual top, etc.). This only applies for clothing stores though, every other interview dress business casual.
