I need help deciding on a major in the medical field.

What's your advice on which career field I should go to school for... Need help deciding?

  • I like electronics in particular computers, tv's, home theater. I also like firefighting, I was on the volunteer here where I live. I don't know which one to do though.. I also like medical field, paramedic. I also love stuff like SWAT and such.. Im not sure if a COP in particular but swat yes and i know i would have to be a cop. the one with more pros is the firefighting its medical and firefighting. Also 24 hours on 48 off which is awesome. so whats your thoughts.. I would like to have my own electronic store.. but working weekends and such is not cool..

    A medical vocation is always worth considering, from nurses and consultants right down to hospital cleaning personnel. SWAT teams have tech weenies (not a derogatory term) that go around and plant surveillance bugs and recon buildings before an assault. Also these jobs are done by the FBI, CIA, NSA you name it. Can't help you much on firefighting but I'm sure it would be quite rewarding working in a major city or even in the bush fighting wildfires. -Army Medic -Army Firefighter

I suggest firefighting! Its something you like and you get to help people and make a difference. Plus the reason you gave - its medical related also. I'd look into schools and the cost of education and what qualities and skills are required. Find what suits you better and persue it. Good luck.
