Marine Biology Career?
-
I'm graduating from high school next year. I would like to have a career in marine science or biology so I was thinking college in San Diego or Hawaii. However, my mother said, "You know you aren't going to make any money...right?" My brother also joked about it. Is this true? Would it be unwise to try and pursue a job in marine science?

Answer:
You should pursue a career in which you have a real interest rather than one that pays well and you hate. Marine biologists don't get paid fortunes but neither are they badly paid. You could earn more if you went into a consultancy specialising in this area
