How do I find a job?

I have been a lifelong job hopper. I want to find a perm job. How do long time employees stay forever at 1 co?

• I left a job today. My male, and overly controlling manager wanted me to know how to do this one thing and I have only been on the job 2 weeks. I kept messing up his spreadsheets and he had to fix them everyday. I just could not grasp the job at all. I have only been on this job for 2 1/2 weeks. I felt very frustrated and he was never available to get some actual training on the assignment that needed to be completed daily. In the past, I have had many many positions. I cannot seem to find a job where I can excel at. Yes, I have an enabler, but I am hoping to change this! I am the laughing stock of my family and friends because I cannot seem to keep a job. I don't like having to interview all the time. I want to get somewhere and stay, but it just has not worked out yet. I need some advice.

  You need to figure out what it is you love to do. Alot of the reason why the people that have had the same job forever is because they do something that they excel at and enjoy. Take one of your hobbies, and find a job where you can do that. For example: if you love fixing or designing cars, get a job as a mechanic or an auto body tech. Think of things that you do outside of work, that you wouldn't consider a chore/job. Say you love teaching/educating people, become a teacher. If your friends turn to you when they need someone to talk to and think of you as a trustworthy person, and you're good at making them feel better...become a therapist or counselor. If you like fixing problems, saving lives, adrenaline rushes, become a police officer. See what I'm getting at?
