What are the pros and cons of a career in marketing?

PROs AND CONs ... of 2 career paths ... between Dentist and Commercial Property Agent ?

  • what are the pros and cons of each career path ?? some factors may be ... length of training cost of training nature of the work difficulty of the work income potential stability of each job, etc ... In YOUR OPINION ..... which job sounds like its better ??? .

  • Answer:

i would go with dentist because it's a more stable income. as an economic major i would say that a commercial property agent's job stability will be very dependent on the market. with the current economic crisis i would think that property sells would be very low. of course, by the time u go through the training(i couldn't tell u what that in tells) to become an agent, the economy will hopefully be in better shape. however, the business cycle teaches that recessions will def reoccur in the future. Do you really want a job that is so sensitive to the market. recession= high unemployment+wages loss+ consumers will stop spending money in stores+ businesses will have to cut back on their spending as well+ bank will be less likely to give out loans all of this will some up to you not making any money. anything in the medical field is going to be pricey, a lot of study, and yrs in college but if u can handle all of that it will pay off in the end and it's stable employment plus u can open your own dentist office and be your own boss
