How to make a good job resume?

How do I make a resume without any job experience?

  • I just recently turned 19 years old and I haven't had a job. From what I've searched, I basically put on my resume what I put on a job application so why would I have to turn in both a resume and job application? The best way to make a resume is to fill everything out, just like in a job application, right? I have nothing to put in Work Experience or Volunteer Work. Does J.R.O.T.C count? As for skills that relate to the job I'm applying for, I don't have any so would they even think of looking at my resume/job application if I don't have any? I had about 5-6 months of working with MS Word, MS powerpoint and turbo c++ during college when I majored in Computer Technology but I barely remember how to do turbo c++. Would I put that in my resume under Skills? And of course, I have basic math knowledge. What site should I go on to help me make a resume and then print them out for free?

  • Answer:

you haven't said what kind of job it is, but in general, there are few things: if you have been in a team game at school, say that you work well in a team (most jobs are working with a team). If you chat a lot with your friends say you are a good communicator. Just look at your personality and take all the good things and put them in as positives that would make you good at that particular job.
