Am I making the right decision?

• I used to live with my parents rent free, and now I am living with my boyfriend, and we both pay rent. I have decided since my sales job wasn't working out to move to another state he is familiar with, and the rent is cheaper, and work and study to become a teacher. Now my parents are mad I don't live at home, and I stopped studying for my teaching degree- but I havent stopped I was just busy working. I have finished all my classes for my bachelors degree and my teaching classes, I just have to take the state licensing exams and study for them. I have since worked a few office miscellaneous jobs to pay the rent, student loans, etc, but there have been major cutbacks of teachers in my area, and the places that have hired teachers are not in the best neighborhoods. Should my parents have the right to be upset, I am 25 yrs old, and moving on with my life. Am I making the right decision?
