Help with Resume organization?

I am a freshman in college and I am trying to update my resume so I can give it to some professors to write recommendations for a scholarship, but I am running into some major issues trying to keep it one page. I dont want to sound obnoxious, but I have gotten really involved around campus this year and I dont really know how to organize all of my experiences in a resume format. I've listed all of the stuff I've gotten involved with below (with some things left ambiguous for privacy). I mostly need help trying to condense it all into one page and sort of find category headers, but any help is greatly appreciated! :D [College Name] Double Major: Computer Engineering & Electrical Engineering (concentration in Renewable Electric Energy Systems) Double Minor: Physics and Business Administration GPA (Freshman, but if currently calculated 4.0) Relevant courses: Engineering Physics II; Signals, Circuits, and Systems; Probability Distribution Theory; Calculus III Part of University Honors Program (top 150 students incoming to the University) Part of the University's Center of Leadership and Service's Leadership in Action Program. Working towards the Visionary Leaders Certificate. Research Assistant Researching Power Semiconductors at the university's renewable energy research center under a notable professor named [xxx]. EcoCar Challenge One of three freshman on the university's EcoCar Challenge team for General motors/EPA program to convert a conventional car into a electric powered, fuel efficient car. Engineers Without Borders Part of the team working on providing a renewable energy system to Sierra Leone. E-Council Member of the university's Engineers Council and actively planning many events to be put on by the College of Engineering. Hall Representative for the Honors Quad-Area Council What it says... Im my hall's representative in the Honors Village Financial Assistant for the University's Inter-Residence Council I organize the budget for student housing and help select scholarship recipients for Study Abroad and Alternative Service Breaks Co-chair of the Extension and Engagement committee for the Honors program member of two other committees of the Honors program (Communications/marketing, and scholarship/research) Tutor for the Honors Program I am a two time recipient of the Presidential Volunteer Service Award with over 500 hours logged I am a national AP Scholar and a graduated in the top 10% of my high school with [state] Honors. Im fluent in English, Hindi, and Urdu I know MATLAB, Python, Java, LabView, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, XHTML, and Maple I also play a lot of instruments- piano, violin, cello, guitar, bass. I guess this is a good problem to have, but I could really use some guidance when it comes to actually organizing all of this so I can market myself the best way possible. Thank you so much!

Answer:
Ok....you have lots of nice stuff the work with here I would write a functional type resume...DON'T WRITE IN THE FIRST PERSON it is a business document Name, address, phone(cell) number(s) and email address centered at the top of the page 4 lines Objective statement (I don't like the word Objective but sort of a vision of where you are and where you want to go. Two lines MAX Education Your current degree program, date and any out of the ordinary courses for each....don't give a grocery list of courses...just special ones. Your High school next and the statement of AP scholar under it. Have an Achievement section next Choose 3-5 things that you are most proud of doing in a bulleted list like this Achievements - As Financial Assistant for the University's Inter-Residence Council, organized the budget for student housing and help select scholarship recipients for Study Abroad and Alternative Service Breaks Have a section of University volunteer positions A simple list one line each - Tutor for the Honors Program (is this a high school or university program?) End with an Hobbies and Interests section Hobbies and Interests - Languages: Fluent in English, Hindi and Urdu - Music: play the piano, violin, cello, guitar, bass. Be concise, if they want to know more they will ask in an interview, add dates to achievements to establish a time frame You should be able to do this on one page. Good Luck
