Teen in need of job: Where should I look?? Are ALL jobs that hard to find now, or just good paying ones?
-
I'm a teen and need any job I can find..where should I look?? and...when people talk about how tough of economic times we are in and "jobs are hard to find"......Do they mean any jobs??? or are they basically just talking about good paying jobs you can support a family off of, that used to allow people to live "good" life styles of going on vacations and having alot of money to blow?? I ask this because I come from an area in the south that isnt exactly going through an economic boom. Actually the central city of my mid sized metro is declining. We were even ranked as one of the poorest cites in America by Forbes last year, and despite my city being one of the POOREST cities in such HORRIBLE economic times, it still seems like I'm seeing tons of people around here able to find employment somewhat easily, even if its fast food, wal mart, dollar general, or k-mart, etc. So. I'm just wondering, is it that jobs are so difficult to find? or just good ones? Right now I just need anything until I get through school, it shouldnt be hard to get on at some type of place like I listed above, right??

Answer:
all jobs are that hard to find. there are 5 job seekers for every known opening. the 'good' news is that's down from 6.

I am a consultant for a company that hires High School students and college students to conduct research and fill out forms. The pay is on a commission basis for the first 6 months. All that is needed is access to a computer, ability to do research and be able to follow links as far as they take you. The job consists of filling out forms, doing online research and some comparison shopping. Average earnings are $50 to $250 per contract completed successfully. If this is more to your liking, you may contact me at: http://[email protected]. we are currently hiring.
may i ask 1st if your reasoning now the money or it is the job experience? if the former one, i am pretty sure it should not be that complicated to find something even with no great work experience. if its the least, it all depends on where you plan to go in time, and what your career goals are for next lets say 5 years. there are jobs at retail, there are perm openings in whole waitressing stuff. there are even some online opportunities where you can do some stuff on freelance basis. dont guess, do search is my advise. whoever seeks does find. there are jobs waiting for you just need to know where to look them for hope this helps and you get your 1st check in september also few links that may be motivating to you on this matter
