Answer:
You need to format your resume so that it is targeting at the job you are applying for. If you will be helping people with specific software programs be sure to mention those in your resume at the top. I would move skills to the top of the page. Your work experience is not really relevant so move it to the bottom and don't focus too much on that. It is good costumer service skills though so do mention how you had to solve problems with people at those jobs. You need to highlight your accomplishments with computer consulting skills. What can you do for this company based on what you have done in the past? see comments on how to be more specific: • Excellent typing skills, 55 WMP. -everyone can type these days. Put this at the bottom of your list • Proficient with Microsoft word, Office, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint. - good, capitalize Word • Have worked in-depth with many design programs included CS3, CS4, illustrator, GIMP and Adobe Photoshop. • Have worked with OSX, WINDOWS and LINUX. - Can you fix problem and troubleshoot these OSes? If so mention then instead of just saying worked with • Have web development and graphic design skills. - Can you add development languages you know? .Net? HTML? Do you have any sites online you can show them? • Worked on a variety of different computers - doing what? Mention things that you would do at work such as building systems, troubleshooting OS problems and mention platforms that they will be using at work. If you degree is relevant mention what it is. For example say: Computer Science BS 2011
