When should I call back about a job?

When will safeway call back for my job?

• I'm 14 and I had a job interview at safeway 2 weeks ago and she said i did excellent. Then she said to call her on monday. So I did but the lady wasn't there and the person on the phone said she would tell the lady that I called. I still haven't gotten a call back is that normal? should i just apply for a different safeway? i really need a job? and can i work at fry's?

  Call back again and ask if a decision had been made on the position they had open. If the person you need to talk to isn't there, ask when she's expected, or when would be a better time to call. Or, you can ask if there's someone else there that can tell you if the position you applied for had been filled. Don't let any indecision on one place stop you from applying at any other place. As hard as it is to find work, you cannot just apply to one place and wait until you hear back from them before you apply at another. Good luck!
