Need job interview tips?

I got a job interview tomorrowI need tips?

  • I've been looking for a part time job for over 2 years (I'm 18) and today I had a phone call for an interview tomorrow and I'm so nervous! I've never been to an interview before and I got no idea what questions their going to ask and I can't mess this up because I really need a job! I got a friend that works there and she said the interviews only 10 minutes and they don't ask hard questions but she said on of the questions they ask you are 'If someone came to you and complained what would you do'? What could I say to that any ideas? thanks.

Seriously, just take a deep breath and think about it. If someone has a problem, the first thing you do is try to help. If you cannot help, then you recommend somebody who can (for example, you might go to get your boss). Answer the questions honestly. Don't try to be overly clever or second guess what you think the interviewer wants to hear - just give simple, honest answers and if you're not sure about something say that you're not sure. As for the interview more broadly, make sure you look smart and well dressed, make sure you're polite, make sure you turn up on time (aim to get there early) but most of all just be yourself. Relax.

Try something along these lines..... Well Mr---- I believe that our customers reflect the reputation that a business has. If a customer is unhappy it is my job to do everything in my power to turn their experience around. So I would listen without judgement to the unhappy customer next I would decide if I could handle the customers concern or should I get a manager. I would make sure the customer knew that as a representative of this company that I was dedicated in solving their concern. These are the things that I look for in a new employee. Dress for success, clean finger nails, light or no perfume, light or no make up, no texting, no ear buds, turn cell on vibrate and don't answer it while in the company. Keep chit chat with your buds to a minimum. Smile, keep eye contact, keep head up when you answer questions. Speak in a clear voice, limit slang. Remember you're wonderful and this company would be darn lucky too have you as an employee. Google the company even if it's mcdonalds and jot down a few impressive facts about the company. If they ask "what do you know about this company" then you can fire back with these facts. Best of luck too you:)
