The experience of Job Shadowing?

Help! How do I compose an inquiry about a job after a shadowing experience?

• I went on a job interview over 2 weeks ago and sat with four people for a little over an hour. I was called back at least 5 business days later for a second interview, which was job shadowing. I shadowed approximately a week ago now. I was on-site for about five hours talking to several employees and managers. I was told I'd hear from them, but it's been a week and I'm not sure what to do. Did I not get the job or is following up something *I* need to do this time and not them? If I follow up, how should I appraoch it? I was considering e-mailing them because I know how busy it can get ( it's a car dealership). But if I were to call, what would I say? Any advice would be great.

  Call them ASAP, tell them that you interviewed with them and the dates you did so. Simply ask for a status update on your application with them and let them know that you would genuinely appreciate the opportunity to work for them. Good luck
