What is a good entry level job that involves worldwide travel?

If you work on a cruise line..whats the best entry level job position on board that will give me time off?

  • i want to travel so when the boat arrives say to the carribean i want a chance to see what its like there..so what kind of job there will help me get the most time off ? thank you

  • Answer:

working on a cruise line at an entry-level job isn't glamorous at all, and you're not going to get time off. entry-level people work crazy hours and often times are below deck for their shift. when you're done you just retreat to your very tiny cabin that you share with a lot of other crewmembers. it's also very hard to find entry-level work on boats because those jobs are typically taken by non-Americans who are willing to work crazy hours for terrible pay. cruise boats technically don't have a home port in the US so that they can skirt minimum-wage and other labor laws. so not only won't you get time off, but when the trip finishes, you'll be out of work until you can secure your next job on the next trip.
