What is an Account Executive in marketing?

Which internship should I choose?

  • I'm a Junior Marketing major in college and just got offers for Internships with Enterprise Rent-a-Car as a Management Trainee and with ComDoc(a subsidiary of Xerox) as an Account Executive. I'm trying to make up my mind of which to choose, I'm leaning towards ComDoc because of the higher pay and the horror stories I've seen online of Enterprise, but I wanted to see what some other people thought.

I would go with ComDoc - it's going to look better on a resume than a management trainee position. You're not a trainee - you have an actual status and position. Every place can have horror stories, but I think you said it yourself - ComDoc has a higher pay. That's enough for me. If it's also going to give you valuable work experience on a resume - take it!

I would definitely go with the accountant exec, based on higher pay and I really wouldn't be interested in working for a rental car business.
