Answer:
It's obvious you are very smart but it's also obvious that you are not English major. The short answer to your question is nothing and everything. While it might technically be a good resume; your objective sentence does not make grammatical sense if you say it out loud to yourself and it should come first- this is your topic sentence if you remember that from grade school. The languages section might need to be abbreviated and relocated. You use upper case letters where they don't belong and lower case where they do. Your resume reflects the pride you take in yourself and your work so potential employers see these tiny errors and file your resume in the circular file. In this economy you cannot risk that. While you want to show all of your skills you don't want it to sound like you just printed them out from some computer database either. I am not sure what all of the ?'s are about either. You want to keep every item in the same format for example; Company Name, dates employed, Job Title, Upper case letters where they belong on each one. Another words, don't capitalize July in one entry and then use lower case on (september) in the next entry. Keep them all the same. I would also use dates for all of your school and work experience as well as degrees you earned or are working towards with the # of credits earned and GPA if it is fairly high and all job titles. My son works in law enforcement and has a color photo of the departments badge on each internship and job he has held. It makes the resume very impressive looking. Maybe you can think of something similar that will show off your computer skills without ruining the integrity of hte resume? You may also want to add a line about references; “ References available on request” or something similar. If you want me to review it fix it up and email it to me [email protected] Good Luck

Besides spelling and grammar and all the '?' I'd say it's too vague/general. IT is becoming more specialized. There usually isn't just an need for a roundabout jack-of-all-trades. I discovered this with my resume. "To utilize my interpersonal and technical skills in a networking or IT position on a long-term career growth." Well everyone in this field has technical skills. What are so special about yours? I'm not being a dink here... but you need to be a little more specific. Skills: First, I'd really call the Skills Section "Technical Proficiencies" or "Software" and I don't think it should be at the top of your resume. Naming a bunch of common software packages does not impress anyone especially when they cover a wide variety of applications. From these applications I see you like to do graphics and stuff... well how does that translate into hardware? or support? or network admin? or analysis? It doesn't. Resulting in numerous raises and promotions: Really? Well what were the promotions? IF you went from Systems Analyst I to Systems Analyst II then those should be listed separately. If your boss just gave you a raise with more responsibility then it's hard to quantify that but you have to try. Set up new technologies: What new technologies? and how did you set them up. Did you "Deploy Wireless Network" or what? Fixed and maintained a network consisting of 15 computers: This doesn't sound impressive. Say "Administered small Local Area Network". You gotta use REAL industry lingo. This just sounds like your the kid that kinda knows a bit about computers and can defrag a hard drive. Diagnosed and repaired the dealer computers: first, who cares if they were 'dealer' computers? And realistically, what did you really do to diagnose and repair them? Again, you need more lingo. EG. Troubleshooting.... What about "Disaster recovery"? That's a big buzz word right now. You've got a lot of work to do whit this resume if it really looks anything like this.
