How do i write my CV?
-
Hi, im a bit stuck on writing myself a CV, i have been working the same job since i left school for nearly 9 years now, i work in a restaurant kitchen, cooking, waitressing, a bit of everything really, and i have decided its time to move on now, i don't want to work in catering anymore, i would like to go for a job as a secretary, or a receptionist, but i don't know how to write a CV as i have never had to do it before. I have done my NVQ level 2 in hospitality, and i cant remember my GCSE results, and have no record of them. I don't really know where to start, so any advice would be appreciated about what i need to include in it. Thanks.

Answer:
Unlikely you'll get clerical/receptionist job with no experience whatsoever. You left it a very long time to suddenly decide you don't want to work in catering anymore. Unemployment is very high right now and this allows employers to consider only the most qualified and experienced among those who apply
