What are some good temporary jobs?
-
i decided that i am going to study to become a personal trainer. this could take up to 6 months, depending how fast i study and the testing and all that. so in the mean time, i need just a regular job that i can quit once i get certified. i have retail experience with selling clothing, but it's not for me anymore. where should i apply to make a minimum of 10 bucks an hour? i applied to a bunch of hotel jobs and did a few interviews since i live in vegas, but only one of the hotels gave me a chance due to my lack of experience in that industry. i have a b.a. in psychology and am good with computers. i don't mind sales, just not retail. any suggestions?

Answer:
Mystery shopping. But you won't be paid every week for each job. Qams is a good company. I get paid within 2-3 wks. They've never been late. Jobslinger.com is where you should sign up. They have listings of jobs. I know there's mystery workers needed and merchandisers in Nevada. Make sure that you check each company out. There are shopper forums you can join. Do not ever pay for job lists. Don't blow money on gold and bronze certificates. If you are reliable and honest and have communication and computer skills you can get jobs, with out certifications. Make sure you are honest because companies can pull up the info from other places you've applied to. Stay away from telephone surveys and crap online surveys and sweepstakes. Do not ever give soc sec. # out without checking company out. If they ever ask credit card info, or want you to try a subscription or buy something on internet and return or cancel After a certain time, don't DON'T do it. Mystery shopping is fun. Some jobs you have to pay first. Ex. go to resturant buy a meal. Keep receipt. Scan your receipt. Submit survey. Wait for paycheck. Some shops reimburse fully, partly, none, and pay you. Keep up with mileage and gas recpts this can be written off on taxes.
