Where can I get medical experience?

Where can i get a job? 16 years old no experience?

  • i'm really smart i have a 4.5 gpa and i volunteer at a hospital but the only bad part is i have no job experience and i have no one that can hook me up. i have the looks and clothes to work at Hollister but i dont live near any of the ones that are hiring. im willing to work any where other then fast food restaurants(i just find them very degrading). i am amazingly good with people i can talk to them very easily and help them out with any problems. i dont even care if i get minimum wage. i live in fl, pembroke pines can anybody tell me if they know places that are hiring in pembroke pines and are easy to get into?

I also find fast food jobs degrading, I quit my job at McDonalds after two weeks. But I would call certain businesses, like Real Estate or something small and ask if they could hire you as an assistant or something, a lot of my friends found jobs like that. Office Assistants can be 16, just not the administrative assistant.

Culver's minimum hiring age is 14 with a workers permit. I called many stores because I am 14 looking for a job. This was the response they gave which makes me happy after looking for so long. Find a local one go online and apply and go in store to apply or call and ask if they are hiring. What I did was Google a bunch of business near my home and found their numbers using Google maps or their sites and I called and directly asked if they are hiring and what age do they hire at. Try local grocery stores, pizza parlors, retail stores, fast food restaurants.

Start out with your school's guidance office because you will need a work permit. The school often knows who is hiring and with your gpa, odds are they will put in a good word for you. Don't be afraid to start at the bottom to get the work experience and then move up. It's good to have goals but make sure they are realistic and obtainable. You can achieve great things but you have to work at them. It's almost summer. How many of your classmates have already gotten their work permits and advice??? Don't be left at the end of the line. Don't wait for your ship to come in... Swim out to meet it.

At the age of 16, I had myself a job in a pharmacy. I also think with your experience, this would be a good job for you. Perfect if you have volunteered at a hospital too. Don't go to a fast food place for work if you have the skills to do something better! But go around your local pharmacies, a lot of them take on weekend staff if you're still studying. It's good pay and you can have a lot of opportunities with this! You can do the counter assistant course, the Pharmacy dispensing course and then eventually become a checking dispenser which is very much like a pharmacist.. but then again, you might decide to study this at uni. Usually with this job, you'll get more than minimum wage if you go with an independant pharmacy. I think you'd really like it. It's amazingly interesting too and you get to work with people and see all sorts. You'll learn so much at your age doing this.
