How do I enter a business field?

Need help picking focus for Business school & future career?

• I'm applying to business school this fall and want to begin sifting through the different areas of concentration. I'm lucky in that I have a very strong academic record, test scores and work experience and have an opportunity to attend a top program, but since I haven't really selected a specific field I want to work in, I'm still at a loss for what specific programs to consider. Two things I love in life are money and sports. I'm not going to law school and I'm not going to be an agent, though. I'm really good at math, too. I'm not really a family-type guy either. I like working long hours; I'm satisfied if the job is going strong, regardless if I come home to an empty apartment. I enjoy travel and have been living overseas for two years now. Given the above two paragraphs, can anyone offer any advice of areas of business or specific jobs/positions that I should research? My ideal situation is one in which I discover a specific job that excites me, that I can focus on as a goal. I've got plenty of time before I start school (fall 2011) so I want to be thorough about this and enter school with specific jobs at specific companies to shoot for. I'm just not really sure where I should start looking.
