What kind of jobs can you get in a Pharmaceutical company?

Switching jobs within a company?

  • I've been working in a Pharmaceutical company for 3 months (it's a one year contract) and it's my first full-time job after graduation. I work in the QC department, but I'm reallly interested in switching jobs to the Regulatory department. No one in my department knows anything abt the people working in the other dept. or even where the dept. office is within the building (it's a huuuge building).... some people tell me that 3 months is too early, but it'll probably take a while to actually get into that department, and Im realllly interested in it....and since I don't have the experience in this field, I want to learn and that takes time... so the only way of contacting the regulatory people is through this program that works like MSN messenger (I searched up their names) or to send e-mails... So how do I go about contacting them? I really want to let them know Im interested and I wouldn't mind even working on a small projects to learn on my spare time.. but do I just randomly msg the manager? would this be too forward? what do I tell them.. Im kind of lost abt this whole switching thing, since Ive never done it.. it's always switching to a diff. company.... thanks
