How do I quit my job?

How do you jump jobs and quit your previous job successfully?

I got extremely blessed that I had a legit job at the early age of 15. I've been working at Mcdonalds since I've turned 15, But i'm turning 16 soon and i'd really like to find a better job (nothing wrong with working at mcdonalds, I mean a job is a job and I'm grateful for that. But I mean..Come on now.. Fast food? I don't think I wanna work there my entire life..) I've been wanting to work in retail since I was 13! and on my birthday I am going to fill out a form and try to get a job at Pacsun. The thing is, I don't have experience in quitting jobs, I don't know how to do it? What If (hypothetically speaking), I complete the interview at PS and they said I have the job, then I quit at mcdonalds right away, then PS calls me and says they don't need me. Then I end up with no job? How is the proper way to switch jobs?

Well...an awful lot of guys just quit there job and start doing drugs and go on unemployment. Did you know that you can get unemployment for 99 weeks now..thanks to Barack? Now THAT'S what I call a 99%er! We all voted for Barack in 2008...we voted for HOPE + CHANGE. Well, I'm only in week 18 of my unemployment. I'm kinda unclear how many weeks I have left, but when Barack wins again in November, we'll get 99 more weeks (or maybe more ;-)) and probably WITH A RAISE, TOO! OBAMA 2012! We love you, Barack and Michelle, too! And, oh yeah....by the way...OCCUPY YAHOO ANSWERS ! ;-)
