What should I do for a career?

What career and what major should I look into for?

• I am interested in a career in Medicine and International Affairs, something that involves overseeing health clinics, going into children orphanages, homeless shelters, and to developing nations; introducing proper medical care/technology...What careers and majors should I look into? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

  You could take a regular medical type BS degree and then apply to medical school or you could take a paramedic course and work part time as a paramedic - this will give you hands on experience as well as classroom training - in a lot of schools you can double major - maybe you can take medical or paramedic plus international studies or maybe political science or foriegn languages - then you can kill two birds with one stone so to speak - sounds very interesting and rewarding - lots of luck - my son is lookiong into medical school too that's what I've been learning about it...i beleive you can also get into medical school with other majors as long as you've had certain required courses like biology and chemistry - talk to a guidance counselor preferably one who works in the medical or nursing program at a local college...
