My dream job, how to get started?

• My dream job is to open and own my own Rock Shop, with like selling cds, tshirts, dvds and stuff of rock and metal music, how do i get started to achieve this when i get older?

  very simple and straightforward. you'll need a supplier of goods. find a warehouse (or several) that will supply your product. you may get someone who will extend credit to you and let you pay 'em back as you sell. you may go with a "pawn shop" approach and buy used stuff. hang a sign in the window "cash for music gear" blah blah. you'll need a storefront with a good location. near college, school, anywhere your target customers will congregate. you'll need some security, cameras etc. to discourage theft. good news is security technology is fairly cheap. you'll need a business license, this is only 5-10 bucks and is mostly to let the local authorities have you on file so they can send you a tax bill every quarter. think up a clever catchy name, be grateful for your customers, and if your heart is in the right place you have a good chance of succeding:)
