Question about the Paramedic career?

Nursing a good male career?

• im currently on my second semester of college, i am or was trying to earn an A.A. in criminal justice and transfer to a 4 year university and earn a B.S. in that same major. with the economy being like it is, the criminal justice field is really impacted, specially right here in Southern California. I was thinking of entering the Medical Field. I am 20 years old and i want to start fresh somewhere, and on the mean time get some valuable job experience. i would plan on entering the Law Enforcement Field sometime in the future, probably on my 25+ years. some questions i have for you guys; -what are the different levels in the nursing branch? -other things besides nursing? -paramedic, ambulance driver( i like this because its emergency calls)? - is it too late to start studying for a medical career at the age of 20? -how is it working in this particular field?(this question is for the people working in this field ; ) P.S. my sister is a Medical Assistant, she pretty much works any location she wants, that is cool

  Im a medical biller and coder and I have two certificates. One in medical assisting and one as a certified medical biller and coder. I am also getting done with my A.S degree as a medical administrative specialist. Then im going to get a B.A in healthcare leadership. I think healthcare is the way to go. If you plan on going for law enforcement at 25 then there is no point in doing nursing. Because by the time you finish your nursing school you will almost be 25 anyway since it takes about 4 years to become a Registered Nurse. You really need to just choose one and stick with it. Don't waste anymore time. And remember, being a cop is not just a job. It is a lifestyle that you must be willing to deal with. People will always act different around you if they know you are a cop. People will not really be themselves around you because you are a cop. Cop will be printed on your forehead. Im not saying its a bad career, but im just saying that people will not act the same around you anymore. For example, I like to smoke weed and occasionally I like to go drinking at a bar and maybe snort a line of cocaine to sober me up before going home, there is no way I would let my friend who is a cop, know what kind of fun I have. And that is just one example out of many. And I wouldn't want to hang out with my buddy if he became a cop cause then we cant really do anything fun. Lets face it, most of the fun is illegal.
