What is the highest and lowest salary range of a taxidermist?

My manager has given me a job description, which shows lower salary range compared to similar jobs published?

I am a developer with 10 years of experience. I moved into a new technology 2 years ago. I am with the same company from last 8 years. I have never been given a new job description when I moved into the new technology. I recently asked my manager for a salary raise because salaries of all new hires in the company are atleast £10K more. In return of this, she has sent me my job description that shows salary range to cover my current salary only. There are currently vacancies opened in the company for roles similar to mine that show the new salary range of £10K more. I see this as manipulation. My manager is asking me to sign the job description asap. what can I do in this situation?

All you can do is apply for one of the higher paid roles. If you do not get it then look elsewhere. They are paying you what they think you are worth to them. UK
