What are some security like jobs?

What other jobs can you do after being a Security Guard?

• Well im just wondering what other careers or jobs do you think you could do after being a security guard? This is just me wondering what you could swap a security job for as i think negatively and think that you wont be able to change your job from security guarding. As i think eventually i would like to change my career. Only UK Answers please and no links to other websites thanks

  I had the same problem - I did SIA work whilst I was in college and I did not like it very much. A friend of mine set his company up from being a security guard, he is now a security consultant - he advertises as a firm that helps to improve home security, security cameras, locks, alarms, etc. He makes very, very good money! If you go online and search for "courses for security camera installing" this should give you some idea of what I'm talking about. ALso, locksmith is also a good home security skill as well, maybe take a look at that as well
