What are some great ways to improve my resume?

Would people pay for resume critiquing?

  • I'm a currently a college student looking to bring in a little more money. My on campus job pays roughly $5 and hour after taxes, but what I've learned has paid off in other ways. My job is to re-format, critique and improve student resumes who are applying to grad schools or jobs. In today's hyper-competitive job market, certain qualities of a resume will make or break an employer's decision. Applicants with similar credentials have the chance to stand out with an extraordinary resume, something I've learned from seeing all different types of layouts and wording. If I offered an online service in which people could send me their resumes for me to improve, do you think people would pay $5 per resume and/or $2 per cover letter?

  • Answer:

Sorry, but there are already many (!!!) services like that online, and some of them are for free :[
