Need HELP on what career to choose?
-
hi I've been going threw a view tricky, bad, sticky situation's in my life and now having the problem of finding out what career to do can some one help please! Because I left school with all f grades in my exams thinking I don't care are be alright. I went on to be a builder. It was a very physically demanding job,I didn't need any qualifications, I was good at it, I loved it,it was good pay,no problem's. Until I had a SERVER injury at work when I was 17 to the back of the leg,it healed. Went back to work carried on no problems. Gradually the pain in the back of the leg started coming back also on top of that I gradually started getting pains in my shoulder's,hands, knees, neck, ankles, feet,… which wasn't nice or normal I was worried depressed and alone. This went on for age's it was affecting my work really badly my friends and family. I seen my GP when I was 18 he said it was growing pains and gave me pain killers. Went back to my GP 7 months later and told him I am in server pain I can barley move my shoulder's he referred me to a orthopaedic and a physiotherapist. It took them a while to get back to me I eventually seen them and was eventually diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis when I was 19 and a half. He said due to the injury when I was 17 it triggered of a inflammatory gene call the hla-b27 gene that i already had in my body but wasn't switched on and the accident switched it on. This affected my career, family, friends and myself badly for many year's since the injury has happened and trying to find out what was wrong with my body and still is. I have tried to carry on doing the physically demanding job as a builder since the incident but keep getting problems with my shoulders and hips and I am in alot of pain all over. I think it would be wise for me to start a new career because the pain is to much for me to carry on working as a builder. But i am confused on what to do as I said at the start I received all f's in my gcse's in school and was only good at physical, heavy duty, sporty sort of stuff so I don't have the qualifications to be a doctor, nurse or anything like that my F grade's are so low I can't get a normal job. The only thing i knew and i was good at was physical work my dad is very successful builder with his own company and taught me from a young a age showed me how things were done and finds it disappointing and unfortunate for me that i cant be a builder. I want a fresh start a new job but just really confused doe's anyone have any idea's on what i could do as a career or a job now, from the information i have given you? I'm interested in health, beauty, fitness, nutrition, human body and sport and a view other non important thing's. Please help because I don't want to do nothing for the rest of my life i want to work and have a life I hope you can help?
