Has anyone ever had a group interview at Macy's recently?

I have an interview with Macy's and I need help!!!?

  • I have an interview with Macy's and I need help with interview questions. Has anyone had a group interview or 1 on 1 interview with Macy's? What kind of questions did they ask? Please help me!!! Thanks in advance.

  • Answer:

All I know is if you have a group interview be one of the first two to start talking. This shows confidence. If you are on a one on one, they will want to know why you want to work at Macy's (as opposed to any other dept stores), your availability and hours you want to work. Be sure to make school a priority...they will honor that.

Other answers

If it a one on one interview you need to determine who you are interviewing with. If it will be the hiring manager then you need to focus on what you bring to the table why they should hire you and what separates you from the other candidates. If it is a group interview make sure you get introductions remember their names and positions so you can address them each which will make yo more impressive. You still need to be prepared with the same information but you will also need to address your answers to the person asking the question not a general answer. Also be prepared to answer scenario questions where they will describe a situation and ask you what you would do or how you would handle the situation. This can be anything form customer, fellow empoyee, product, etc. I hope this helps. Good luck
