What are the top majors that are easiest to get a job in?

What kind of job can I get with these Majors and Minors?

  Minors only enhance the major but do not get you a job directly. Regarding the majors - if you go for a PhD - you could teach in a college. Competition is very high for these positions however. Otherwise: -Sociology/Anthropology - is worthless without a PhD and pretty worthless with a PhD -Psychology - Great if you go to med school otherwise you could be a social worker. -French - This is almost the most worthless language to learn. Chinese and Spanish are the most valued. However knowing foreign languages plus a business degree would allow you to go into some aspect of international trade. If you also got a teaching degree = in theory you could be a high school French teacher but I don't see much demand for that. Knowing French may allow you to work for a charity organization working with poor nations that speak French such as the Red Cross in Haiti. However you will be competing with folks that are willing to do this for free as a way of helping others. Of the things you listed - unless you plan to go to med school (Psych major) then I would suggest you change majors to Spanish with a business minor or dual major OR major in Geology with the goal to work for a energy company searching for oil or gas. I know I am being harsh but you don't want to finish college with debt and find your degree is worthless. You can also ask you career office at college for a list of what folks with these degrees did after graduation. I suspect most with these majors are still looking for a good job, went to grad school or got some type of lower paying sales job totally unrelated to their major.
