How can build up my resume.?

  • I'm a student at a community college. I'm going for a certification on computerized accounting. I have about 2 more quarters to go. I was an escrow assistant for 6 years for a corporation company before that i worked for an international gift store as a sales person. Please help me build up my resume for this certification! Possible jobs i'm looking for are 1. Full Charge Bookkeeper 2. Accounting Cleark 3. Payroll Clerk 4. Data entry Clerk 5. Accounting Receptionist 6. Auditing Clerk 7. Accounts Payable Clerk 8. Automated Records Clerk

    Just find a standard resume form and fill in some details about your past jobs and education. Don't worry if it's a little thin --- you are just graduating so no one is going to expect you to have a resume packed with experience. The key is to get a decent job where they will teach you stuff (very little of what you do in accounting is learned in college) and you can advance. And stay away from jobs with 'receptionist' in the title. You want to be an accountant, not a secretary.
