How do I start an acting career?

I want to start my acting career, I live in North Carolina so how can i start that?

So can someone please help me and tell me how i can start it? i have taken Drama in school and my friend and i always make videos of us acting so i have little experience.

    1.Get a talent agent and they'll help you out 2. Im sure your good but practice everyday you can act out your fav shows 3. Practice an audition in front of producers(practice telling them about yourself)

they are going to be filming iron man 3 in nc sometime soon. id get in touch with an acting agency and try getting in it as an extra. remember, you have to start somewhere...i.e. being an extra, commercials, and even on silly reality or game shows. hope this helps and break a leg.

Since you are still in High School, it is hard to jump into a career, but there are steps you can take to start the beginning of your acting career. One thing you can do is be in as many plays as you can be in. Do all of your school plays and even look into company plays. You can also start by looking at acting collages. One last thing you can do is ask an elementary school if you can work with the director to direct a play. It will look good on a collage application! Good luck with your career!
